3rd Annual Run United 5K Run/Walk Saturday, April 27, 2013 9:00 A.M. Butler Tech, Liberty Township, OH Course: Begins and ends at D. Russell Lee Career Center, Butler Tech., 3603 Hamilton-Middletown Road, 45011. Run Divisions: 14/under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,
35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69 and 70/over. Walk Divisions: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,
60/over. Awards: First overall Male and Female runners and walkers. Awards to age group winners. Post Race: Stay for refreshments and awards immediately following the race. There will be gift cards and prizes as well. CHIP TIMING: This year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for re-use. More information about chip timing. Instructions on how to properly attach your timing chip to your shoe.

Benefit: Proceeds benefit the Butler county United Way Community Day at Butler Tech: The Run United 5k is part of an even bigger day at Butler Tech. The school will be hosting its Annual Community Day on April 27, 2013. They day will include a car show, activities for kids, a mock disaster demonstration, food and drinks, a FCCLA Spring Flower and Plant Sale, live radio remote from WGRR, tours of the D. Russel Lee facility, and a vendor area.
Admission to Community Day is FREE and open to the public. Pre-Registration: Register in advance for $20 (adults 18 and older) or $15 (Youth 17 and under). Registration includes a free T-shirt. You may register online or by mail. Youth no shirt option: Youth can register for $10 without a shirt. Register Online: Online-registration is available through Thursday, April 25, 2013 at noon. Registration includes a T-shirt (while supplies last). Register by Mail: Print, Fill out and Mail your entry by Thursday, April 18, 2013. Registration includes a T-shirt (while supplies last). Race-Day Registration/Number Pickup: $25 (Adults 18 and older) or $20 (Kids 17 and under). (includes T-shirts while supplies last). Registration begins at 7:30a.m. at Butler Tech. T-Shirts: All registrations include a t-shirt while supplies last. Additional shirts can be purchased for $15.
