Saturday, June 15, 2013 8:00 AM Cottell Park in Deerfield Township
Distance: 5 Kilometers (5K), 3.1 Mile Run and Fitness Walk Description: Come on out and join us at Cottell Park for a 5K run and fitness walk. Proceeds from race will help fund the Veterans Memorial and Cottell Park. Course: 5K (3.1 miles) begins and ends at Cottell Park at 5847 Irwin Simpson Road, 45040 Chip Timing: This year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for re-use. More information about chip timing. Instructions on how to properly attach your timing chip to your shoe.
Run Divisions: Men & Women: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70/over. Walk Divisions: Men & Women 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70/over. If you intend to run any part of the course, sign up as a runner. Cash Prizes: Awarded to top three (3) Men and Women overall finishers: 1st - $75; 2nd - $50; 3rd - $25 Awards: Top three Male and Female Runners. Top Male and Female Walkers. Age Group awards to first place in each division. Door Prizes: Door prizes will be awarded at random. Must be present to win. After the Race/Extras: Refreshments, Awards, Door prizes Pre-Registration Entry Fee: $15 per person. T-shirts: T-shirts are available for an additional $10 with pre-registration while supplies last. If you know you want a T-shirt, please pre-register to be guaranteed your size. Register online: Register online with a credit card. Available through Thursday, June 13, 2013. Small service fee will apply. Register by Mail: Print and Mail your Registration. Mail-in registration must be postmarked by Monday, June 10, 2013. There is no early packet pick up for this race. Late registration and packet pick up will take place on race day. Register on Race Day: Race day/Late registration and number pick up: Begins at 6:30 am. at Cottell Park. $20 per person ($10 T-shirts while supplies last). No Refunds.
