Derby Dash 5K Run/Walk

Benefiting the Fitness for Life Around Grant County Physical Activity Initiatives

DISTANCE: Choose an event. 5K Run or 5K Walk.

WHEN: Saturday, May 5, 2012.

START TIME: Runners will Start at 8:30 a.m. Walkers will begin one minute after the run start.

WHERE: Registration and Number pick up at the Williamstown Baptist Church, 214 N. Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Click here for Google Map.

COURSE: 5K (3.1 m) course through scenic Williamstown, KY in Grant County. View the course.

RUN DIVISIONS: 16 and under, 17-30, 31-50, 51 and over

WALK DIVISIONS: 16 and under, 17-30, 31-50, 51 and over

AWARDS: Top Male and Female Runners and Walkers. Medals will be given to all race participants. Age group awards based on age divisions listed above.

GROUP AWARD: The largest group (10 or more) will receive a $100 gift card. So get out there and start a group.

T-SHIRTS: T-shirts are available. See Registration section for cost information.

E-MAIL ADDRESS: All Pre-registered entries that include a valid e-mail address will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration prior to the race and will receive their individual results via e-mail.

AFTER THE RACE: Free Kids Fun Run, Post-race recovery foods and Awards Ceremony.

GROUP RATE: $15 each. Minimum of 10 people in a group. Must register at the same time (includes shirt). Separate entry form for each member of the team. Mail together.

FAMILY DEAL: $20 first person, $5 each additional immediate family member (includes shirt). Separate entry form for each family member. Mail together.

$25 Race Day (no shirt) - You can buy a shirt the day of the race for $10
Race Day registration opens at 7:30 a.m. at the Williamstown Baptist Church
