Brought to you by Bob Roncker's Running Spot |
The 2013 Dirt Days Calendar is set. Seven dates and nine events. Events will include trail runs of varying distances from about 3 to 11 miles, including a night race. One thing that is for sure: with this variety, there should be something for everyone! Sign up for all of the events or pick and choose your favorites. Sign up for each race individually.
Complete at least five races and receive a special participation award. Complete at least four events and you will be eligible for the Dirtiest Dozen competion. The Dirty Dozen consists of the top twelve male and females based on points and will receive special awards at the end of the series. Points are based on your place withinn your gender for each race (1 point for first place, 2 for second, etc.) The lowest total wins base on your BEST FOUR finishes.
In addition, the male and female winners in each race, as well as one random entry will receive some nice prizes to be determined (free shoes, perhaps). No duplicates please. There are also awards based on age-graded results. More about age-grading.
Registration Fee: $10 Pre-registration per race. $15 on race day. Several races offer optional t-shirts. Dirt Day Trail series Tech shirts will be available for purchase for $10 each at each event.
There is no early packet pick up for these races. Check in on day of race begins 1 1/2 hour before each event.
