10K Challenge in the Forest

Forest Park

Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 8:00 A.M. for a 10K Run and 5K Walk.

Course: 10K course begins and ends at Forest Chapel and winds through Winton Woods County Park. View 10K Course Map at USATF. 5K will turn around half way and return to the finish.

Run Divisions: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-59, 60/over.

Walk Divisions: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over.

Awards: Trophies to top male and female runners and walkers. Medals to top 15% of each run/walk division and all teams (based on pre registration). Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

Free Pancake Breakfast: Included for all participants. Other food and beverages will be provided as well. Additional family members may join us for breakfast for a small donation.

Free Child Care: Child care/baby sitting will be provided during the event.

Later in the Day: Festival will begin at 3:00 pm and continue through 9:00 pm and will include a music fest with music every hour, games, more food, silent auction etc. More information about the Festival in the Forest is available at the Forest Chapel Website.

Benefit: All proceeds go to charity and to the continuation of outreach programs into our communities.

Pre-Registration: Mail-in Registration is available for $15(including pancake breakfast). T-shirts are available for $10 extra. This is the cheapest way to go. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Saturday, September 5th, 2009. Click here for a PDF Race Flier with entry form.

Register Online: Online-registration is available for $15 through Thursday, September 9, 2009(including pancake breakfast). T-shirts are available for $10 extra. This is the easiest way to go. Race-Day Registration/Number Pickup: $20 (includes pancake breakfast). T-shirts are available for $10 extra while supplies last. Begins at 7:30 a.m. at Forest Chapel.

Additional Pancake Breakfasts: Additional family members are welcome to join us for breakfast for a small donation.

email address: All entries with valid email addresses will receive pre-race confirmation of entry and will receive race results emailed to them post-race.
