Family friendly 3.1 mile paved walking/running trail at scenic Winton Woods Park. Raffle prizes. Breakfast provided by FirstWatch Restaurant. Live Broadcast by MAX 97.7 FM.Personal appearance by our own Captain Kidney.

Description

Join us at scenic Winton Woods Park to raise awareness of the dangers of kidney disease and support the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.

Following the race, participants will enjoy refreshments and have a chance to win awards and doorprizes.

Course

3.1 mile course follows walking/running paths at scenic Winton Woods.

Directions/Parking

 

Directions from I-275: Take I-275 to Exit 39. Travel south on Winton Rd. for approximately 3.25 miles to
Lakeridge Dr and turn left (at the light). Take first left toward Harper Meadows Area. Watch
for signs directing you to KFGC Registration Area.


From Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway: Take the Winton Road Exit and follow signs to Winton Road North. Go North on Winton Road. As you approach Winton Woods, turn right at the light on Lakeridge prior to crossing the bridge over the Lake. Take first left toward Harper Meadows Area. Watch for signs directing you to KFGC Registration Area.
Plenty of parking is available.

Note: All vehicles entering the park must have a valid Hamilton County Park Pass. Passes will be sold at the entrance for $2 for the day or $5 for the entire year.

Registration - 3 ways to register

Pre-Registration Fee - $25.

Race-Day Registration - $30.

1. Register online at GetmeRegistered.com. Small service fee will apply. Online Registration will be available through Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

2. Print, fill out and mail PDF flier/Entry Form- Include Credit card or Check. Mail-in Deadline: Postmark by April 20th, 2009

3. Register in person on Race-Day beginning at 7:30 am at Winton Woods - $30 Race-day

New for 2009: T-shirts are included with all registrations.

After the Race/Extras

Refreshments will be provided. Awards Ceremony following the race. All particpants are eligible for door prizes.

Breakfast provided by First Watch.

Music provided by Max FM.

Divisions

Run - Men & Women: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70/over.

Walk - Men & Women 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over

Awards

Awards to Top Male and Female Runners and Walkers. Medals will be awarded to the top 15% of each run age and walk age group (based on pre-registration). Awards presented immediately following the race/walk. Door Prizes will be randomly drawn. Everyone has a chance to win.

Results will be posted online later on Sunday. .
