Kraut Route 5K and 10K Run/Walk

DISTANCE: Choose an event. 10K Run, 5K Run or 5K Walk

WHEN: Saturday, October, 11 2008 10:00 a.m.

START TIME: Runners will Start at 10:00 a.m. Walkers will begin one minute after the run start.

WHERE: Newport, KY. Registration, Number Pick up and Post-Race Party at the Hofbräuhaus Bier Garden

COURSE: Starting and finishing at the Purple People Bridge, passing Sawyer Point and Mehring Way.

RUN DIVISIONS: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70/over

WALK DIVISIONS: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over

AWARDS: Top Male and Female Runners and Walkers and Top 15% of each division (based on preregistration).

$100 GAS CARDS will be awarded to the Top Male and Female Runner in both the 5K and 10K Race courtesy of Toyota Trucks.

PLEDGE AWARD: Special Award to the participant who raises the most money through sponsorships. Pledge forms are available online at www.hollyhill-ky.org.

DOOR PRIZES: All Entrants are eligible for door prizes including a $100 GAS CARD courtesy of Toyota Trucks.

T-SHIRTS: First 150 T-shirt orders will receive a Technical T-shirt. All others will receive a standard t-shirt.

E-MAIL ADDRESS: All Pre-registered entries that include a valid e-mail address will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration prior to the race and will receive their individual results via e-mail.

POST RACE PARTY: Post Race Party includes music, door prizes and a brat /beverage from Hofbräuhaus. Additional Party Tickets will be available for non-participants at the door for $6 each.

AWARDS CEREMONY: Immediately following the Race

RESULTS: Complete Results will be posted online at www.Runningtime.net (here) following the race.

Preregistration Fee: $15 includes brat, beverage & door prize chance. T-shirts are an additional $10. Registration by mail with form below should be postmarked by October 6th, 2008. Register on-line by October 8th, 2008. Additional Party tickets are available for $6 each.

Late/Race-Day Registration Fee: $20 includes brat, beverage and door prize chance. T-shirts are an additional $10 while supplies last.
