Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 9:00 am at Water Works Park for a 5K Run/Walk. This event is part of the Mozart Octave, an 8 day series of concerts and social events in Hamilton and Fairfield. The race benefits the Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorale.

Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2014,
at 9:00 am at Water Works Park for a 5K Run/Walk. This event is part
of the Mozart Octave, an 8 day series of concerts and social events
in Hamilton and Fairfield. The race benefits the Hamilton Fairfield
Symphony Orchestra and Chorale.
WHAT: 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk
BENEFIARY: Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorale
WHEN: Saturday, April 12, 2014, 9:00 am
WHERE: Water Works Park, Fairfield, OH
COURSE: 5K Course (just over three miles) begins and ends at Water Works Park in Fairfield. Course Map from USATF.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES: John Lomax from WKRC-TV will be back by popular demand to emcee the event.
CHIP TIMING: This year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for re-use.
RUN DIVISIONS: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70/over.
WALK DIVISIONS: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70/over.
AWARDS: Top male and female runners and walkers. Age group awards to the top of each run/walk division. Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

FREE KIDS FUN RUN: After the 5K
MUSIC AND ACTIVITIES:There will be live entertainment and family-friendly activities throughout the morning. including a Free Kids Run. Special guests include Mozart himself joined by the Town Crier. Refreshments will be provided for all entrants.
FREE MASSAGE: Free pre and post-race massage courtesy of McCullough Hyde Physical Therapy
DOOR PRIZES: We will have many door prizes. Each participant will receive one door prize ticket with ther entry.
EMAIL ADDRESS: All Pre-registered entries that include a valid email address will receive an email confirmation of registration prior to the race and will receive their individual results via email.
PRE-REGISTRATION FEE: Adults 19 and over is $15 without a T-shirt or $25 with a T-shirt (while supplies last). Kids 18 and under is $12 without a T-shirt or $22 with a T-shirt.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION FEE: $20 without a T-shirt or $30 with a T-shirt (while supplies last).
T-SHIRTS: Race T-shirts are optional. T-shirts are $10 each while supplies last.
REGISTER ONLINE: Register online with a credit card through Thursday, April 10, 2014. A small service fee will be added to your bill.
REGISTER BY MAIL: Register by Printing a PDF Race Brochure and Mailing. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Saturday, April 5,2014.
REGISTER ON RACE DAY: Race-Day Registration and Number Pickup: begins at 7:30 a.m. at Water Works Park.
