Organized by St. John Fisher Church and the Newtown Civic League Event: Newtown 5K- 31st Annual 5K Run/Walk When: Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 8:30 am Where: The Beautiful Moundview Park, 3130 Newtown Road, Newtown, OH. Click here for Google Map. Course: 3.1 miles over residential streets. Relatively flat. Splits at every mile. First aid and water on the course. Begins and ends at Moundview Park. View dynamic Course Map on USATF Website. Divisions: Male and female runners divisions for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Male and female walkers divisions for the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Walkers will have a seperate start. If you sign up as a walker, you must start with the walkers and you must walk the entire distance (No running allowed). Corporate Team Competition: A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. A corporate team sponsorship of $175 will cover a maximum of seven runners. Please submit team competitions together by mail. High School Teams - Register by mail. Send in your forms together by July 19, 2013. Awards: Awards to the top 3 finishers in all divisions. Special awards to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female runner and walker. A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. Awards Ceremony after the race. Race Results: Results will be posted online at www.Runningtime.net (here) following the race. Kids Run: FUN RUN FOR KIDS Race will be after the 5K Run. Fees: Pre-registration is $20 postmarked by Saturday August 3, 2013. This includes a free commemorative T-shirt. After August 3, 2013, the cost for race participation is $25 and T-shirt is $10 extra. A corporate team sponsorship of $175 will cover a maximum of 7 runners including t-shirts. ***** NO REFUNDS***** Register Online: Online-registration available through Wednesday, August 7, 2013. PDF Flyer and Registration Form email: All pre-registered entries with a valid email address be sent an email confirmation prior to the race and will also be sent individual race results post race. Late Registration and Packet Pickup: Available Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 4pm -7pm at Bob Roncker's Running Spot, located at 1993 Madison Rd., O'Bryonville or Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Moundview Park. Register on Race-Day. Registration/Number Pickup begins at 7:30 am at Moundview Park. Directions to Moundview Park, 45244: Route 50 or Route 32 to South on Church/Newtown Road to Park on Left. Beechmont/Route 125 to North on Five Mile to Left on Clough to Right on Newtown Road. Google: 3130 Newtown Rd Cincinnati, OH 45244 to get directions from your location.
