Strides for Stars 5K Run/Walk WHAT: 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk BENEFICARY: All proceeds benefit "STARS", free grief support program for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. WHEN: Saturday, April 13, 2013 9:00 am WHERE: Dixie Heights High School,
3010 Dixie Highway, Crestview Hills, KY 41017 MASTER OF CEREMONIES: Lisa Cooney from WLWT-TV will be back by popular demand to emcee the event. DIVISIONS:
Run Divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,
70 and over. Walk Divisions: 39/under, 40-59, 60/over. AWARDS: First overall Male and Female runner and top in each age group and team with most walkers. AWARDS CEREMONY: Immediately following the Race AFTER THE RACE: Food, refreshments & promo items will be available on race day. Silent auction raffle tickets will be offered as well, so be sure to bring some spending money. EMAIL ADDRESS: All Pre-registered entries that include a valid email address will receive an email confirmation of registration prior to the race and will receive their individual results via email. PRE-REGISTRATION FEE: $25 for adults or $15 for those 17 and under. T-shirt is included with registration. T-SHIRTS: T-shirts are included with registration. PLEDGES/DONATIONS: You can help the STARS program further by securing pledges or donations. This is not required. If you are interested, print a race flyer which includes a pledge form. LATE/RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP: Race-Day Registration and Number Pickup: begins at 7:30 am at Dixie High School. Entry fees are $30 adults or $20 for those 17 and under.
