Complete Information

Come to Mt. Adams and join us for our 20th annual holiday tradition. Scenic and challenging course begins at Jerome and St. Gregory and winds through Mt. Adams and Eden Park offering spectacular views of the city.

When: Saturday, December 17, 2011. Registration begins at 8:15 AM. Race begins at 10:00 Sharp!

Where: Historic Mt. Adams and Eden Park, overlooking Downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River.

Course: Scenic and challenging course begins at Jerome and St. Gregory and winds through Mt. Adams and Eden Park offering spectacular views of the city. 2011 course Map. The 2011 course has been altered slightly due to Water Works Construction in Eden Park.

Distance: 5 Kilometers (5K) or about 3.1 miles.

Divison: You can choose to either Run or Walk. If you think that you may run any part of the course, you should sign up as a runner

Run Divisons: 15/under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Overall, Masters, Grand Masters.

Walk Divisions: Walk Divisions: 19/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Chip Timing: Once again, this year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you agree to return it.

Awards: Top Male and Female runners and walkers. Top male and female masters (new for 2009)(40 and over), Top male and female grand masters (new for 2010)(50 and over), and top in each age division. Awards ceremony following the race. Note: Overall Winner awards are based on Gun Time.

After the Race: Join us at Longworths after race for the Awards Ceremony, Egg Nog, Bruegger's Bagels, Food, Drink and Fun.

Door Prizes: All entrants will be eligible for random Door Prizes. You must me present to win.

Race Headquarters: Longworth's of Mt. Adams is our race headquarters this year. They are located at 1108 St. Gregory Street, 45202 in Mt. Adams. Mt. Adams overlooks downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River.

Entry Fee: $15 pre-registration. $17 late Registration. $20 Race-day.

Archived T-shirts: A limited number of 2009, 2008 and 2007 T-shirts are available for purchase for $5 each. Let us know if you are interested and we can hold one for you. The T-shirt logos are shown at the bottom of this page.

Register Online: $15. Register online with a credit card at GetMeRegistered.com through Thursday, December 15, 2011. This is the easiest way to go and is cheaper than race-day registration. There will be a small service fee added to your bill. T-shirt supply may be limited. If you want a t-shirt, it is best to register before Monday, December 12, 2011.

Register by Mail: $15. Fill out an entry form and mail with payment. Postmark by Monday, December 12,2011. This is the Cheapest way to go.

Late Registration/Packet Pick up : $17. Register in person on Friday December 17th at Bob Roncker's Running Spot in O'bryonville from 3pm - 7pm.

Register on Race Day: $20. Race-Day Registration and Number Pickup: 8:15 am - 9:45 am at Longworth's in Mt. Adams.

Early Number pick up: Friday, December 16. 2011 rom 3-7pm at Bob Roncker's Running Spot in O'Bryonville.

Email: All registrations that include and email address will receive a pre-race confirmation and individual results mailing post-race.
